Gone but not forgotten

This year was a tough one.  Losing Pops in February and them Mom in November.  And then just a few days ago handed over the keys to the homestead.  I have only been in the family for 25 years but this home felt like it was my families.  My inlaws owned this home and raised 7 children in it.  Wonderful sons who married wonderful ladies (if I may so myself).  Hard to believe the army core will be tearing this beautiful victorian down to put in who knows what.  This home was filled with laughter and tears.  We had our rehearsal dinner here, my daughters ate thier first major holiday dinners here.

This home will be in our hearts forever....... RIP <3 <3

Very proud mommy!

Who would have ever thought when I got married 25 years ago that I would have the most beautiful amazing daughters in the world.  I am so proud of my girls and the wonderful women they have become.
Kayla just finished her 1st year in college and Mariah just graduated high school.

Where did the time go????

Well, as most of you know.  Kayla is on her 2nd semister of freshman year in college.  She made deans list her 1st semister, we are so proud of her.  She has really become a mature young woman, growing up way to fast.  Mariah is nearing the end of her senior year in high school.  We are so proud of her for getting into Kutztown for Special education and getting ready for her senior dance.  She has also become a smart young woman.  Where did the time go??????

My pillow craft for the week!

Pillow project.  Well, spent two days over the weekend so sick.  Decided today after work I was going to try and do something usefull... .okay, not usefull but fun.  I made a pillow for work to display how you can use our fabric, other than for quilts.  How about a pillow?!  You can make 2 matching pillows using only 4 fat quarters, some fiber fill and 4 buttons for covering.  Making some for kay to take to college!
