We got to see a dorm where the girls WILL NOT be staying..... Im sure it not pronounced "bone-r" but it made us laugh. Well.. here we are again. Off to another college. Our college runs start us getting up at 5 am to get to the places for registration.. ugh!
Kutztown was very nice. A lot bigger than Ithaca, but still nice. Of course Jerry was reading the map on the walking tour and kept saying, "yah.. we are going in the right direction, well... baby... another wild goose chase he had us on. We were looking for the education building and he had us all the way down by the dorms. Completly across campus. I had to burn off a million calories in walking this weekend!
Jerry and I just sat in the front seat smiling. We both were thinking about the same things. OMG.. our babies are grown. Some things didnt change. The giggles and laughter coming from the back seat, both of them making each other laugh and then right into figting and back to laughs. We both were thinking about how when they were our "little girls" and we used to go for long rides in the car. When things got tough we would put Garth Brooks on they both would pass out. Needless to say they both passed out 1/2 way home and low and behold.. Garth came on the radio. Jer and I just looked at each other and smiled. No words had to be exchanged.. just a smile. I miss those days.... but we all grow and learn. Yes.. I wish I could go back and change some things with raising our girls.... but I do love who they are becoming, so I guess we didnt do it all wrong.
